Step 1

Find your design

Send us artwork you already own, or tell us what you want and we will have it drawn.

You have the artwork

Send vector artwork, .ai preferred, with fonts outlined. You need to own it, or hold a signed licence from whoever does: Zippo's Artwork Agreement asks you to confirm that in writing before anything goes into production.

You do not have the artwork

Tell us what you want and we will have a design drawn to your brief. Logo, event, store name, a one-off run for a customer. You see it as a proof before you commit to anything.

Step 2

Choose your base model

Around 100 base models across six finish groups. Each swatch is a close crop of the lower case, so you are comparing the finish itself rather than the lighter.

Step 3

Choose an imprint method

How the design goes onto the case. Colour Image prints it, the engraves cut it in, the premium methods build it up in layers.

Color Image $4.00 to $6.00 per side, added to the lighter 30 piecesOne or two colour, or full colour.

Laser or Auto Engrave $4.00 per side, added to the lighter 30 piecesClean, permanent, works on most finishes.

Lustre and Fusion $6.50 to $8.00 per side, added to the lighter 30 piecesPremium finishes with more depth than a flat print.

Deep Carve $22.00 to $44.50 per side, added to the lighter 100 piecesCarved into the case. Epoxy inlay available.

MultiCut Quoted per design per side, added to the lighter 100 piecesArmor case only.

Stamping Quoted, plus tooling per side, added to the lighter 500 piecesTooling charge applies.

These are estimates for the imprint only. The figure is per side, added to the base model you choose, and your dealer discount comes off the lighter. Two sides means two charges. Personalisation and consecutive numbering are $4.00 per side and carry no volume discount.

Your real price comes with your proof, quoted per SKU, because it depends on the base model, the number of sides and the quantity.

Step 4

Sign the paperwork

Two documents come back with your order. Zippo will not start production without the artwork agreement, so it is worth doing before you fill in the form.

Start your custom order

Send the brief and we come back with a proof and a firm price per SKU. Allow four to eight weeks for production once you approve it.
