The Spyderco Dragonfly 2 is an updated and refined version of the classic Dragonfly--designed to maintain the tried and true features of the original, while upgrading it for greater usability. Carry-over features from the original include the tried and tested mid-sized blade, ergonomic handle shape, and a front-finger choil and spine cusp. The design also maintains the blade-to-handle geometry and leveraging points of the original which combine to make the Dragonfly cut and feel like a much larger large knife when in the hand. New upgrades and refinements include the addition of a left/right tip-up wire clip for easy and accessible carrying. The knife boasts patented Bi-Directional Texturing on the FRN handle as well as choil and spine jimping for positive hold. The knife maintains its sturdy yet lightweight build with screw together handle construction and a skeletonized full-liner that shaves off unnecessary weight while maintaining rigidity and interior integrity. Built for a natural and effortless fit in the hand, the Dragonfly 2 has an enlarged Spyderco Round Opening Hole positioned in relation to the pivot for to smooth opening. The FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handle fits the hand ergonomically with a series of grip angles and leveraging spots. Like all Spyderco knives, the Dragonfly 2 carries a limited lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship.
